The Journey to Fingle's Cave

In the mountains of northern New England, on the southern flank of what were once called the Crystal Hills, the Pemigewasset River flows south to the sea. Flowing into Pemigewasset from the west is the river the Old People called Asquamasauke. Follow one of the many brooks that flow out of the hills to the north.
